Casa India Catalina has developed a biosafety guide to provide our services with the security that is currently required.
We have implemented protocols that allow us to guarantee the safety and health of our guests, collaborators and visitors. With these measures we seek to preserve your health and safety.
Below you will find information about our procedures and the measures taken to guarantee a healthy stay in our facilities.

Check In

  • Prior to arrival, the guest must send via email or WhatsApp a photo of their identity document, the personal information format completed and the health status survey completed. This in order to have as much information as possible about the client to reduce check-in time.
  • The guest must disinfect their shoes upon arrival at the hotel, their temperature will be taken and they will be asked to clean their hands with antibacterial gel.
  • The luggage will be disinfected with quaternary ammonium solution. If you need help with your luggage, hotel staff will take you to the door of the room, taking all the biosecurity measures.
  • Permanently wear a mask in the common areas of the hotel and maintain the social distance recommended by the WHO of at least 2 meters.
  • Our check-in (entering the room) is from 3:00 pm and check-out (leaving the room) is until 12:00 noon. If you arrive before check in time we can store your luggage until the time the room is available for delivery. It will not be possible to open your luggage before entering the room, therefore we recommend that you come with clothes suitable for the city's climate.
  • To minimize direct contact between people and maintain social distancing, we recommend that any questions or requests be made from the room phone or via WhatsApp.

Rooms

  • Each room will have a meticulous cleaning and disinfection process as established in our biosecurity protocol.
  • Each room will be disinfected with a heat fogging process and will remain closed after cleaning, thus guaranteeing hygiene until check-in.
  • The cleaning of occupied rooms is done every 3 days with prior reservation between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. If the guest needs clean towels or replacement of amenities (soap, shampoo and / or conditioner) they can request them by contacting the reception.
  • The minibar products will be removed from the rooms and must be requested by contacting the reception.

Breakfast

  • Breakfast service is from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • The guest will receive our menu via WhatsApp so that they can inform them one (1) day in advance of their choices and the time they want to have breakfast. Breakfast can only be taken with prior reservation.
  • Before entering the breakfast area, the guest must disinfect their hands using the dispenser located at the entrance of the dining room. If you have a fever or flu symptoms you will not be able to enter the area and breakfast will be delivered to your room.
  • The maximum capacity of the area is 5 tables (one (1) person per table, or two (2) if they are registered in the same room). After having occupied a table the guest will not be able to change to another.
  • The guest will have the table available for a period of 30 minutes to consume their food. After this time, you must leave the breakfast area.
  • The use of face masks is mandatory all the time you stay in the area, except when food is consumed.
  • Each table will be disinfected before and after service according to our protocol.
  • If the guest does not eat breakfast at the previously reserved time, they will have to wait until a table is available.
  • If the guest does not wish to make use of the available tables, they can request that breakfast be brought to their room. This service must be booked one (1) day in advance.

Common areas

  • Periodic disinfection of places with frequent use will be carried out.
  • The public bathroom has a sink with a sensor tap to minimize contact and ensure more hygiene. In addition, it has antibacterial soap and disposable paper towels.

Pool

  • The pool is enabled for use from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
  • As stipulated in resolution 1547 of 2020 and taking into account the dimensions of the pool, a maximum of 3 people can enter at the time.
  • Wear the mask permanently covering the nose and mouth. When entering the water, the mask should be kept in a bag, to be used again when leaving.
  • Always shower before and after leaving the pool.
  • In the area, social distancing between people must be maintained, except for members of the same family nucleus.

Attention schedule

Due to the pandemic generated by the Covid-19 virus, we have adapted our opening hours as follows:

  • The reception is open from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. Any requirement that you have must be made at this time so that it can be attended.
  • The main door of the hotel is open until 12:00 pm. After this time, entry or exit from our facilities is not allowed.
  • The cleaning of occupied rooms is done every 3 days between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
  • Breakfast service is from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • The pool is enabled from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Our team

  • Each employee must comply with the process of disinfecting shoes, taking temperature, washing hands and changing clothes before entering.
  • Social distancing is constantly practiced among our collaborators.
  • Each employee should wash their hands constantly during the day for 30 seconds, after each service or if they consider it necessary.
  • The use of a mask is mandatory.
  • Each employee will receive training on local regulations for biosafety and protection.

Providers

  • We have ensured that all of our service providers adhere to our hygiene and disinfection protocols.
  • We have verified that they have protocols that guarantee the safety of our clients.
  • Suppliers with fever or flu symptoms will not be allowed into the hotel and the merchandise they transport will not be received.
